Report of Work done by 1/18th Battn London Regt in Spoil Bank Sub-Sector 12th - 20th May 1917
Front Line. Strengthening and raising parapet and building new traverses
Drainage Trench. Digging out to a depth of 4 ft and planting mustard seed
New Support. Clearing out old trench and making new support line.
West Terrace. Building new dugouts under R.E. supervision.
Norfolk Lane. Raising and making parapet bullet proof.
Estaminet Lane. Clearing trench where blown in, raising parapet and repairing trench boards. Clearing drain at lower end.
Old Kent Road. Clearing where necessary and building new cut to front line. Digging new trench to cut off corner of Estaminet Lane. Making new cut from Estaminet Lane to an old Reserve Trench. Making new beds in Infantry Tunnels under R.E. supervision. Building new Dumps in
